Welcome to Valerie’s world of Bellydance Ireland. I am a professional Egyptian and Oriental bellydancer based in Dublin, Ireland. I perform and teach a wide range of authentic Bellydance styles – Egyptian (Baladi, Saidi & Stick, Classical & Veil, Cymbals), Turkish, Gulf, Moroccan, Brazilian, Greek, some Tunisian Folk and Persian. I also dance Flamenco and Sevilleanas and upon request will perform to Bollywood music. Bellydance Ireland offers a high standard of performance and tuition. I perform at cultural, corporate and commercial events, family celebrations including wedding/hen parties, birthdays, and festivals in Ireland and abroad. I have appeared many times on national television and have been featured on radio shows and in a number of magazines and local and national newspapers. As a dancer, I have performed in Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Turkey, Greece, Brazil (Rio de Janeiro), the UK and of course here in Ireland. I am a qualified dance teacher with over 30 years’ experience in teaching and am a member of the Association of Professional Dancers in Ireland (APDI). I am also a full member of Irish Actors Equity.
